As a Psychotherapist and Addictions Counselor
for over 20 years, Dr. Reid employs short term therapy, utilizing Behavior Modification and
Cognitive Therapy to help you identify and gain insight into those mental and behavioral patterns
that keep you from getting where you want to go in life.
Dr. Reid gained her expertise in Addictions as
the Director of Operation PAR’s Substance Abuse Program at Hillsborough Correctional and as the
Mental Health Coordinator at PAR’s Clearwater office.
She was also able to sharpen her skills as a
mental health professional working as a Psychological Specialist in the Florida Correctional
system. Dr. Reid has also worked extensively with the elderly as a mental health contractor
with the Area Agency on Aging and Neighborly Senior Services.
Working with the HIV/AIDS community has been a
long term endeavor of Dr. Reid‘s. She continues to this day as a strong supporter and
advocate for those with HIV/AIDS and to those in the general population most in
need.
