Counseling St Petersburg FLAn Interesting Name for a Psychotherapy WebsiteIt's beginnings are quite original and its meaning multifaceted. Three colleagues/friends came together due to a mutual interest, dedication, and belief in their profession. In an attempt to come up with something original in naming the website --- all of our initials were combined. Serendipity (she is not the 4th counselor) stepped in and came up with WROC (Warren, Reid, O'Connell), which led to Counseling WROCS --- now spelled Rocks. What a concept! It fits our philosophy of psychotherapy to a "T". When life throws you a curve ball, knocking you off balance, damaging your self-esteem, and at times sending you to a dark place -- seeking out a counselor to help you find your way, is a positive step toward taking charge of your life -- NOT a statement that you are crazy. We see psychotherapy as a means to self-fulfillment, self-management, self-worth, and self-awareness.
